Programmable AC Power Sources 3kVA ~ 67kVA (DC+0.01Hz ~ 1kHz)

The N4A range of Programmable AC Power Sources provide breakthrough low distortion performance previously unseen from a “Switched Topology” Source, the implementation of a proprietary “6 legged output stage” effectively creates a very high switching frequency for waveform construction – thus providing lower distortion. The N4A offers the unique ability to generate both high frequency power waveforms up to 1kHz as well as low frequency power waveforms down to 0.01Hz. This feature enables the engineer to simulate low frequency power devices such as wind turbines with very low fundamental frequencies. Up until now, switching topologies have suffered from higher distortion levels than that of the more established Linear approach. The introduction of the N4A power sources signifies a new chapter in low distortion AC Power Source technology.

The N4A AC power source range offers compliance to a range of international EMC standards including IEC61000-3-2:2014, IEC61000-3-3:2013, IEC61000-3-11:2001, IEC61000-3-12:2011, IEC61000-4-11:2004,  IEC61000-4-13:2002 + A1:2009, IEC61000:-4-17:1999 + A2:2009, IEC61000-4-28:2000 + A2:2009, IEC61000-4-29:2001 and IEC61000-4-34:2007 + A1:2009.

The N4A AC power sources feature an extremely flexible waveform generator capable of mathematical waveform generation, data point waveform upload and many sequencing functions. Traditionally, switching topologies have struggled to provide total harmonic distortion (THD) figures below 2%. The N4A “6 legged topology” provides less than 0.3% THD and typically 0.1%, the N4A range of AC Power Sources should be considered the best value power generator on the market. Ranging from the N4A06 6kVA model (300Vrms, 20A) to the N4A67 67kVA model (67kVA, 75A /phase) – the N4A will suit a wide range of applications including;
